With the almost universally lambasted Ouija his sole directing credit to date, Stiles White will be hoping to pull something better from the bag with supernatural thriller Forgotten, which he has just taken on for LD Entertainment.
White will pen the script with his wife and writing partner Juliet Snowden, the two (pictured) having previously written 2005’s Boogeyman, Nic Cage sci-fi Knowing, 2012’s The Possession and of course, Ouija together. Forgotten is an English-language remake of 2012 German chiller Du Hast Es Versprochen.
Synopsis:
The film is set on a remote island where two women reunite at a childhood vacation home. It explores themes of fear and friendship as the pair find themselves haunted by the ghost of a girl from their past.
Snowden will also act as executive producer, with producing duties falling to Mickey Liddell, Pete Shilaimon, and Jennifer Monroe of LD Entertainment, along with Alison Rosenzweig and Michael Gaeta of Gaeta Rosenzweig Films.
