Following the recent launch of their production company Stolen Picture, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (the Cornetto Trilogy) have sold a horror pitch to Orion Pictures.
Called Svalta, the film follows a family vacationing on the titular (fictional) Swedish island. Unfortunately, their summer of fun is cut short by a serial killer—and the locals have no intention of helping them out.
Frost is writing the screenplay for Svalta alongside Stolen Picture’s Creative Directors James Serafinowicz and Nat Saunders. Pegg, Frost, and Miles Ketley will produce.
