David Charbonier and Justin Powell—the filmmaking duo behind 2021’s The Djinn (pictured above) and the nail-biting The Boy Behind the Door—have wrapped production on their latest horror film.
Called Open House, the film “follows a realtor who must survive a night of terror when a deranged client shows up at her open house.” Alicia Sanz (From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series) and Raúl Castillo (Army of the Dead) star.
Charbonier and Powell wrote and directed Open House, which is being described as a psychological horror-thriller. Shot in Los Angeles, the picture comes to us from Kingo Pictures and Mad Descent and was produced by Charbonier, Powell, and Ryan Scaringe.
Executive producers include Sanz, Castillo, Amy Lippens, and Jilbert Daniel.
