Nicole Kidman (The Northman, The Others) is set to star in Holland, Michigan, a new thriller from Fresh director Mini Cave that Deadline describes as having a “Hitchcockian bend.”
The project, which comes to us from Amazon Studios, is based on a script by Andrew Sodroski (Manhunt) and involves “secrets that lurk beneath a Midwestern town.” In addition to starring, Kidnman will also produce with Per Saari under her Blossom Films banner.
Cave proved her horror chops with this year’s Fresh, which starred Daisy Edgar-Jones as a woman tired of dating apps who takes a chance on a man she meets in the grocery store (Sebastian Stan), only to discover he has… unusual… eating habits. Kate Churchill is executive producing the director’s latest project. Peter Dealbert is producing.
