New TV Spot for The Boy is Dead But Not Gone

Posted on: December 23rd, 2015

The Boy 2Dolls are scary and the upcoming horror film The Boy is getting ready to tap in to those fears. With this new TV spot, we are warned that the little boy Brahms may be dead, but he is certainly not forgotten.

Check out a couple of frights in the short clip below, which also shows how sinister, yet beautiful the film looks. The Boy comes from director William Brent Bell who was behind The Devil Inside and the recent Wer, and stars Lauren Cohan from The Walking Dead fame.

Synopsis:
Greta is a young American woman who takes a job as a nanny in a remote English village, only to discover that the family’s 8-year-old is a life-sized doll that the parents care for just like a real boy, as a way to cope with the death of their actual son 20 years prior. After violating a list of strict rules, a series of disturbing and inexplicable events bring Greta’s worst nightmare to life, leading her to believe that the doll is actually alive.

The Boy will be released on 22nd January, so could be a nice early horror treat for 2016.
