A trailer has landed for upcoming slasher Deviant Behavior, the second feature from fledgling indie company STX Media, along with a new poster. A release date for the film however, remains unannounced.
Directed by Jacob Grim (Dreadtime Stories), Deviant Behavior (the title of which will require a small spelling tweek if it reaches UK screens) stars Eric Rodrigue and Tania Monroy, alongside John Dugan and Ed Guinn. Those latter two names should ring a bell, being that they belong to two cast members of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre; Dugan played the ancient, weakened Grandfather (reprising the role in 2013’s Texas Chainsaw 3D), while Guinn came to Sally’s rescue in the 1974 classic’s final moments, as the Truck Driver.
Deviant Behavior centres on sleazy private dick Charlie Reese (Rodrigue), who gets a whole lot more than he bargained for when he takes on the case of a missing girl, and runs afoul of a masked transgender sadist who orchestrates a world of torture and depravity.
