After being shelved in 2018, The New Mutants is finally seeing the light of day this April—and the brand new trailer makes it clear that this is one dark comic book movie.
The film centres around five young mutants just discovering their abilities. Held in a secret facility against their will, they must escape their past sins and fight to save themselves. Alice Braga (I Am Legend), Blu Hunt (The Originals), Henry Zaga (Teen Wolf), Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch), Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things), and Masie Williams (Game of Thrones) star.
So what’s new about the new trailer? Well, for one thing, it gives us our first look at the Demon Bear, which director Josh Boone had previously only teased. The creature draws power from negative human emotion, among other unpleasant abilities.
