Phantasm’s Reggie Bannister heads the cast of horror-comedy slasher Bonejangles, which hits VOD on July 18th from Wild Eye Releasing, who acquired the film last September and have just put out this new trailer.
The second feature from director Brett DeJager, Bonejangles co-stars horror regular Elissa Dowling (Starry Eyes, We Are Still Here, Death House), Kelly Misek Jr. (The Treehouse), relative newcomer Julia Cavanaugh and Katie Walgrave, who starred in DeJager’s feature debut, The Legend of Cooley Moon.
Synopsis:
While transporting the unstoppable killer Bonejangles to an asylum, a group of police officers encounter a hellish pit stop: a cursed town where the dead rise from their graves. Now the only way to save their lives and the town is to release Bonejangles and fight the curse…with something much worse.
“You can tell [Wild Eye] love a good horror flick just as much as the rest of us,” DeJager said upon their acquisition of his film, “and that is exactly why we trusted them to deliver Bonejangles to the world.”
