New Clip Brings us Face to Face with Pitchfork

Posted on: January 9th, 2017

With contemporary slasher Pitchfork having hit selected US cinemas on Friday, distributor Uncork’d Entertainment is keeping those missing it on the big screen hungry for its January 13th VOD release with this newly released clip. It shows a victim coming nose-to-nose with the disfigured killer of the title in a shadowy basement.

The directorial debut of Emmy-nominated choreographer Glenn Douglas Packard – who also co-wrote the script – Pitchfork promises the birth of the next slasher icon. K-Shop’s Daniel Wilkinson plays the murderous, feral man-beast of the title, who descends on a rural farm to slay a group of city kids. The ensemble cast features a host of young newcomers, including Brian Raetz, Lindsey Nicole, Ryan Moore and Nicole Dambro.

Synopsis:
Having recently shared a life-changing secret with his family, Hunter recruits his friends to come with him from New York to the farm where he grew up as he faces his parents for the first time. As the college students enjoy the fresh air of Michigan farm country, an older, more dangerous secret slowly emerges. While Hunter navigates a new place within his conservative family, a vicious creature from their past descends on the farm, putting the unsuspecting city kids in mortal danger.

pitchfork3“Glenn [Douglas Packard] has created a monster for the ages,” Uncork’d Entertainment president Keith Leopard said upon their acquisition of the film last year. “The film is nothing short of chilling, and I’m very excited to be teaming up with Glenn and the team to bring it to audiences across the globe.”
