Netflix has just ordered a six-part supernatural horror series based on the hit Danish podcast Equinox 1985.
The show, which will be called Equinox, comes to us from creator Tea Lindeburg and executive producer Piv Bernth. The plot follows Anna, a woman traumatised by the disappearance of a bus full of high school students, which she witnessed when she was just 10.
Decades later, following a string of nightmares connected to the event and the mysterious death of the one survivor, Anna decides it’s time to find out what really happened. But the truth is more disturbing than she could have imagined…
Equinox is set in Denmark and will jump between 1999 and the present day. Bernth has teased that the story will play with concepts of reality and imagination, free will and fate.
