A monstrous and spooky trailer has been released for The Sitter, which follows a young woman called Charlotte trying to make some extra cash by house-sitting for a couple for 3 nights. Alas, as all great horror films show, all is not as easy as it seems. Because when night dawns, she realises that she’s not alone.
The trailer shows that things definitely do go bump in the night and, for Charlotte, it’s a toothy creature that wants to make her stay in the house as horrible as possible. The film is shot in a “real” haunted house in Oxfordshire, so that should add to the terror.
The Sitter comes from writer-director Simon Richardson (Dark Rage) and stars Richard Kilgour, Jill Buchanan, Samantha Schnitzler and Bjorn Franklin. Wide Eye Releasing will release the film this June.
