NBC has set a premiere date for its supernatural series Midnight, Texas that comes from the author of True Blood, Charlaine Harris. The series is centred on a group of supposed “outsiders” that include a psychic, a witch, a vampire and Reverend who sounds like he might just be a werewolf.
Midnight, Texas” stars François Arnaud (The Borgias) as Manfred, a charming, powerful psychic who can communicate with spirits and finds safety in Midnight surrounding himself with both human and supernatural allies. Midnight is also home to Bobo, proprietor of the local pawn shop (Dylan Bruce); Fiji, a witch who owns the local wiccan shop (Parisa Fitz-Henley); Olivia, a mysterious assassin with a weapon for every occasion (Arielle Kebbel); Joe, an angel who knows all of Midnight’s secrets, having been around for millennia (Jason Lewis); Lemuel, a wise vampire with a long history in Midnight (Peter Mensah); Creek, an aspiring writer with big dreams (Sarah Ramos) and Rev. Emilio Sheehan, who can’t resist the pull of a full moon (Yul Vazquez).
You can check out the trailer for Midnight, Texas below where you can get a greater insight into these intriguing characters. Things get particularly creepy when a body is discovered and a Ouija board is brought out. It looks quite intriguing overall, despite the ropey CGI and we hope it delivers an exciting and scary supernatural ride.
Midnight, Texas will air on Tuesday 25th July 2017.
