Max Minghella (writer and director of 2019’s Teen Spirit) is attached to direct a new horror film called Shell for HBO Max.
Written by Jack Stanley, the film is described as a satirical horror tale with sci-fi elements that involves the health and beauty industry. Automatik’s Fred Berger and Alicia Couvering are among the producers, along with Minghella through Blank Tape. Jamie Bell and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones are executive producing.
Minghella is best known for his acting roles in films like Horns and The Social Network. He also stars in the upcoming Saw spin-off movie Spiral.
