The new adaptation of Stephen King’s The Stand for CBS All Access is rumoured to be attracting an all-star cast, and one of the most recent announcements is especially fascinating. Musician Marilyn Manson has revealed that he’ll be acting in the 10-episode series.
There’s no word yet on what role Manson will play, but we do know that he’s also recorded a cover of The Door’s The End for the show in collaboration with Shooter Jennings. Other rumoured stars include James Marsden, Amber Heard, and Whoopi Goldberg.
The Stand is being co-written by Ben Cavell and Josh Boone, the latter of whom will also direct.
