Lyndsy Fonseca has been cast as one of the leads in Syfy’s upcoming supernatural TV series The Haunted along with Elizabeth Cappuccino, who previously featured in Netflix’s Jessica Jones. Fonseca has a long list of series’ to her name, having starred in How I Met Your Mother and Agent Carter, as well as the Kick Ass films and the upcoming time travel drama Curvature from director Diego Hallivis.
Fonseca and Cappuccino will play sisters Juno and Hester. Juno (Fonseca) is a woman that changes her perspective on life after discovering that she can’t rely on science alone. Hester (Cappuccino) is searching for a purpose in life, but is also keen to be involved with the fun. We think that the supernatural world will be a way for them to overcome these issues, what do you think?
Synopsis:
Four siblings who reunite following their parents’ deaths. As they try to overcome their fractured personal relationships they find that they must also face the literal ghosts from their past in order to survive.
The Haunted has been written by Noga Landay (The Magicians) and should be with us next year.
