Lupita Nyong’o has officially joined the cast of Jordan Peele’s next feature Us. The film will be another horror film, but Peele has previously stated that it will be completely different to Get Out, although the film’s synopsis doesn’t sound too dissimilar from his directorial debut.
Although details are being kept quite secret, it has been confirmed that the film will follow two couples: one white and one black.
In addition to Nyong’o, Black Panther’s Winston Duke and The Handmaid’s Tale’s Elisabeth Moss are currently in talks to star in the film. Hopefully they will also be confirmed soon.
In addition to directing and as with Get Out, Peele has also written the script. Us will be released on 15th March 2019.
