After appearing as a child in John Carpenter’s original Halloween, Kyle Richards recently reprised the role of Haddonfield resident Lindsey Wallace in David Gordon Green’s Halloween Kills. Variety has revealed that Richards will not only be back for next year’s Halloween Ends, but that the script was re-written to include her character after her return in Halloween Kills garnered positive reception from fans!
“The last movie, I saw Jamie [Lee Curtis] on the set, but we didn’t have stuff together,” Richards told Variety. “So I’m really hoping that there is more stuff together. I can’t talk about any storylines, but all I can say is that we start filming in January, and I’m so excited to return with Jamie Lee Curtis and David Gordon Green.”
Variety also notes that the Halloween Ends filmmakers set about“crafting an expanded storyline” for Richards’ return. After her terrifying encounter with Michael Myers in Halloween Kills, will Wallace be haunted or hellbent on revenge? We’ll have to wait until Halloween Ends hits theatres on October 14th, 2022 to find out!
