A new King Kong animated series set within Legendary’s MonsterVerse is coming to Netflix!
Called Skull Island, the show will centre around a shipwrecked crew, an island of monsters, and one king to rule them all. Brian Duffield (Underwater) is writing and executive producing the series, which is being produced by Powerhouse Animation (Castlevania).
So far, the MonsterVerse includes 2014’s Godzilla, 2017’s Kong: Skull Island, and 2019’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The latest film instalment, Godzilla vs. Kong, is set for release later this year.
