It’s less than 3 weeks until Spike’s TV adaptation of Stephen King’s novella The Mist hits our screens and we have a new trailer to get you even more excited.
The trailer focuses on the insects that lurk within the mist and the possible religious connotations that come with their arrival. As well as showcasing much more of the pure horror that can be expected, it touches on ideas surrounding survival and control. As the terrors edge ever closer, the survivors must make decisions that may impact those around them; but aren’t they all entitled to do what they can to survive?
We’re looking forward to seeing the show confront the important moral decisions that those in the mist will have to face, but are particularly excited to see more from the icky bugs and creatures that lurk in the mist.
Check out the trailer below and be sure to tune into Spike on 22nd June for the first episode. The Mist stars Alyssa Sutherland, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Bill Car, Holly Deveaux, Gus Birney, Luke Cosgrove, Nabeel El Khafif and Greg Hovanessian.
