Jordan Peele is coming back!
Unfortunately, he won’t be unleashing his next work to screens for over 2 years. Yes, you read that right, 2 whole years.
This past week it was announced that Peele’s fourth film as a director will release on October 23rd 2026.
A project veiled in secrecy; Peele revealed the new release date via a photo on X. With the numbers set against an ominous background, it seems to bode well that the movie will be horror-based.
Previously Peele’s fourth outing was set for release on December 25th 2024, but was then postponed indefinitely due to the Hollywood strikes.
Peele’s last outing, 2022’s Nope was critically lauded. However, due to its bloated $68 million budget, the film underperformed, bringing in $172 million.
Will Peele’s fourth outing fare better? We shall see… but we must be patient.
