Diablo Cody (Jennifer’s Body) is writing and producing a new horror movie called Lisa Frankenstein that will star Kathryn Newton (Freaky) and Cole Sprouse (Riverdale)!
Deadline reports that the film is set in 1989 and follows “an unpopular high schooler who accidentally re-animates a handsome Victorian corpse during a lightning storm and starts to rebuild him into the man of her dreams using the broken tanning bed in her garage.”
Zelda Williams will direct the film, making her feature-length directorial debut. Filming is expected to begin this summer.
