While Michael Gross will be reprising the iconic role of Burt Gummer for Tremors 7, Jamie Kennedy, who played his son Travis Welker in the previous two movies, will not be returning.
“Lot of people have been asking me, so I might as well spill it,” the actor wrote on Twitter. “I will NOT be in the upcoming TREMORS 7. I had a great time making the last two. But no TRAVIS this time around. But hey you neva’ know what can happen in the future…. have a great time boys!”
Tremors 7 will reportedly be titled Tremors: Island Fury and will see the Graboids taken illegally to an island resort so that a rich playboy can hunt them for sport. The script was written by Brian Brightly, with Don Michael Paul, who helmed Tremors 5: Bloodlines and Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell, returning to direct.
