Canadian director Jon Knautz birthed something of a cult favourite with his enjoyable 2007 feature debut Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer, going on to helm the likes of 2010’s The Shrine, 2014’s Girl House and 2015’s Goddess of Love. Returning, perhaps unsurprisingly, to the horror fold with his latest feature, Knautz is currently gearing up to begin production on Something Fierce.
Knautz is to reteam with his Goddess of Love stars Alexis Kendra (pictured right) and Elizabeth Sandy for Something Fierce, which will also feature Rachel Alig (12/12/12, Officer Down), Stelio Savante (Eisenstein in Guanajuato, Bad Ass) and Keri Marrone.
Synopsis:
As a means to distract herself from an affair, a love-addicted woman befriends a cleaning lady, badly scarred by burns. She soon learns these scars run much deeper than the surface.
Something Fierce is set to begin production in late July.
