“IT’S A WONDERFUL KNIFE” SPILLS BLOOD ON THE SNOW IN FIRST TRAILER

Posted on: October 14th, 2023

“Everyone would be better off if I was never born…”

If we know anything about Christmas movies, that’s certainly never the case. However, the trailer for the upcoming holiday slasher It’s a Wonderful Knife takes this moral lesson to dangerous new levels!

After she successfully stops her town’s mayor (Justin Long) amid a Christmas Eve killing spree, Winnie (Jane Widdop) is still haunted one year later. Tired of being known for just one thing, she wishes she was never born… Then gets a terrifying glimpse at her town if she hadn’t been.

Mixing horror, comedy and holiday cheer perfectly, It’s a Wonderful Knife looks set to become a brand-new holiday horror staple. The film is decked out in stunning decorations and blanketed with snow, certainly one to get you right into the festive spirit.

Justin Long and Jane Widdop look to be on top form here, particularly Long as the small town’s homicidal mayor. With Winnie never stopping his initial massacre, Long revels in his unhinged maniac status, bringing the perfect level of camp to this merry tale.

Hopefully one we’ll be watching for years to come, It’s a Wonderful Knife is the brainchild of Freaky writer Michael Kennedy, and co-stars legendary Scream Queen Katherine Isabelle.

After premiering October 8th at Beyond Fest, It’s a Wonderful Knife is set to hit US theatres November 10th via RLJE Films. On December 22nd the film will hit streaming service Shudder, so you can watch all the bloody merriment at home, just before Santa arrives! Check out the trailer below!
