It won’t be long before we’re bombarded with trailers and teasers for IT: Chapter Two. In the meantime, director Andy Muschietti is here to whet our appetites with an official image of James McAvoy (Split) as Bill Denbrough.
Muchietti posted the image on Instagram while wishing McAvoy a happy birthday. From McAvoy’s posture in the image, it looks like he might even be riding his trusty bike, Silver.
The young version of Denbrough was played by Jaedon Lieberher in the first chapter. Chapter Two sees the Losers’ Club, now adults, reuniting in Derry to get rid of Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård) once and for all. In addition to McAvoy, the film stars Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, Isiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, and Andy Bean.
IT: Chapter Two creeps out of the sewers and into theatres on September 6th.
