Whilst it’s hard to believe, this 21st of November marks 30 years since the theatrical release of Stephen Hopkins’ PREDATOR 2. Despite receiving generally negative reviews when it first came out, both old fans and new have come to appreciate the drastic change in tack that co-writers Jim and John Thomas opted for once Hopkins came on board; so much so that it’s now considered a cult classic.
Whatever your opinion of the film, you really can’t fault it for being the perfect slice of mindless, mean-spirited sci-fi action it was always intended to be. So, to celebrate the film’s 30th anniversary, SCREAM decided to bask in nostalgia with Hopkins who regaled us with some surprising and fun anecdotes and trivia that we had absolutely no knowledge of up until now…
