Indian horror movie Chhorii is getting a sequel! What’s more, director Vishal Furia and star Nushrratt Bharuccha will return.
From T-Series, CryptTV, and Abundantia Entertainment, Chhorii was released globally on Amazon Prime Video this past November. Set deep in the heartlands, the film follows young, modern couple Sakshi (Bharuccha) and Hemant. After being forced out of their home when Sakshi was eight months pregnant with her first child, the pair seek refuge in a house located deep inside sugarcane fields, inhabited by an old couple who seem to know more than they tell. But the house and fields are ridden with dark secrets, posing a threat to Sakshi and her unborn child.
The sequel will pick up right where the original ended, with Sakshi picking up the pieces of her traumatic experience in the sugar cane fields.
