Jamie Lee Curtis has stated that she will return for a Halloween sequel if David Gordon Green returns to direct. I’m up for that!
Halloween has made a killing at the box office and I thought it was brilliant. It’s a genuinely scary, funny and emotional addition and a return to form for the franchise that had not been doing so well. After Rob Zombie’s interesting remake and sequel from 2007 and 2009, I think most of us were ready to say goodbye to the franchise forever. However, David Gordon Green has restored our faith in Michael Myers and Laurie Strode, so here’s to many more!
When speaking to Empire magazine, Curtis said:
“If David Gordon Green called me up and said let’s do another Halloween, I would do another Halloween […] Because he did such a beautiful job creating this movie.”
Halloween is out now, so if you haven’t seen it yet, why not?!
