Hulu and Blumhouse are working on a unique new anthology series that will span the course of an entire year. That’s right, a show that lasts the full 365 (or 366) days. The series will – obviously – feature 12 episodes, where each month viewers are treated to an original tale. Although the episodes will be standalone, they will be linked by some sort of a narrative strand.
When speaking about the series the Chief Content Officer for Hulu, Joel Stillerman, said:
“At the heart of the deal is an extremely passionate audience and an extremely activateable audience in terms of horror. It’s not even the larger bucket of ‘genre.’ I would say this falls squarely into the horror bucket. And it’s brought to us by, I would say in many ways that would be hard to argue, the consummate producers in that genre today.”
Details are sparce for the series so far, but it is set to air in October 2018.
