A haunting new poster has been unveiled for The Autopsy of Jane Doe, which is gearing up for its limited theatrical release in the USA on 21st December. Those of us in the UK will have to wait, because there is no news of a release date on our side of the world just yet.
The Autopsy of Jane Doe is freaking excellent. It’s a sophisticated and truly unnerving cinematic experience and is easily one of the year’s best and scariest horror films. It excels with its simplicity that gives the film an immediately constrained and claustrophobic feel which, in turn, bursts with unpredictability and effective frights.
The Autopsy of Jane Doe follows father and son coroners that are tasked with discovering the cause of death of a mysterious “Jane Doe”. When things get a bit creepy, they realise that the body is harbouring a dreadful secret.
