Based on Adam Green’s Hatchet slasher film series, Hatchet: Halloween Tales II will see Victor Crowley spilling even more blood in three brand new stories—including one written by Green himself.
The one-shot comic book is set in Honey Island Swamp during Halloween, a time when the ghosts of the dead can roam freely and Victor Crowley must turn his rage against the minions of the underworld. Green’s story, “Which Way to Honey Island Swamp” tells the tale of three unlucky witches intruding on Crowley’s swamp. Jason Pell terrifies with “Dimitri Fought a Bear,” and James Kuhoric caps the volume off with the tragic tale of “Weed.”
The 32-page comic, which also includes “horrific holiday fun pages,” is available in three covers: “Main” by Roy Allan Martinez, “Carved” by Richard Bonk, and “Racy” by Mike Wolfer.
Hatchet: Halloween Tales II will release on September 30th. Copies autographed by Green are available to pre-order now on ArieScope’s website.
