It looks unlikely that the Happy Death Day franchise will get a third instalment, but Christopher Landon, the films’ writer and director, is already working on a new horror movie for Blumhouse. The project is rumoured to centre around a killer wreaking havoc in a small town.
Before creating the Groundhog Day-inspired slasher series, Landon wrote four of Blumhouse’s Paranormal Activity movies. He also directed Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, as well as Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse.
