Because we can’t be bothered to write original stories for women, we’ll make female version of male-led programming, amiright?
Despite being cancelled after its sixth season; it appears that Grimm will live on. NBC is currently developing a spin-off of the series that will, this time, feature a female lead. From The Wrap:
“Building off the mythology of the original series, the new show will feature returning fan favourites while also introducing new characters, new dangers and epic new mysteries.”
I had a lot of fun with Grimm and was disappointed to learn of its cancellation. A new female-led series will certainly be interesting, but how different can it be? Who would you like to see in the lead role?
