Greg McLean’s Survival Thriller Jungle gets First Trailer

Posted on: March 27th, 2017

With his much-hyped The Belko Experiment currently tearing through US screens and heading to the UK in just a few weeks, Greg McLean will be looking ahead to the release of his next film, Jungle. The Amazon-set survival thriller looks decidedly more low-key than the no-holds-barred corporate carnage of Belko and as such, has received slightly less buzz. Any new film by Wolf Creek director McLean is an enticing prospect however, and Jungle now has its first trailer, which you can check out below.

Jungle stars Daniel Radcliffe as Yossi Ghinsberg, upon whose memoirs of the same name the true-life tale is based. He is joined by Thomas Kretschmann (Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Avengers: Age of Ultron) and Alex Russell (Chronicle, Carrie), the three playing friends who venture into the Bolivian rainforest, led by a guide who turns out to be a fraud.

Jungle was scripted by Justin Monjo, based on Ghinsberg’s book. McLean also produces the film, which was shot in Australia.

A release date is yet to be announced.
