If you’ve been craving a new shark attack movie lately, you’re in luck. Australian horror-thriller Great White has been acquired by RLJE Films and Shudder!
Directed by Martin Wilson and written by Michael Boughen, the film centres around a blissful tourist trip that turns into a nightmare when five passengers on a seaplane become stranded miles from shore. In a desperate bid for survival, the group try to make it to land before they either run out of supplies or are taken by a menacing terror lurking just beneath the surface. Katrina Bowden (Tucker and Dale vs Evil) stars alongside Aaron Jakubenko, Kimie Tsukakoshi, Tim Kano, and Te Kohe Tuhaka.
RLJE will release Great White in U.S. theatres this summer, with a Shudder debut planned for 2022. Give the toothy trailer below a whirl—and stay out of the water!
