Gorgeous New Poster for The 9th Life of Louis Drax

Posted on: July 20th, 2016

A poster has finally arrived for The 9th Life of Louis Drax from director Alexandre Aja (High Tension, Horns) and it is pretty damn gorgeous. The footage we’ve seen from the film so far has been coated in a heavy veil of mystery and it’s safe to say that this poster is continuing the intrigue and increasing our interest.

The 9th Life of Louis Drax PosterSynopsis:
The 9th Life of Louis Drax begins on Louis Drax’s (Aiden Longworth) 9th birthday, when he miraculously survives a near fatal fall. His doctor Allan Pascal (Jamie Dornan) finds himself tangled between his professional responsibility and his growing affections for the boy’s mother (Sarah Gadon), a fragile young beauty. When Louis’ father (Aaron Paul) comes under suspicion, Pascal realizes other mysterious forces may be at work.

You can begin to decipher the mysteries by taking a look at the trailer below. It sets a poignant and thoughtful tone that is emphasised in the film’s striking use of lighting. It looks like a very different turn for director Aja, but the strong cast and the subtly unsettling atmosphere has piqued our anticipation for the film.

The 9th Life of Louis Drax will be released in the USA on 2nd September and the UK on 9th September.
