It is one of our favourite horror films of the year and we can’t wait to get our hands on the film when it’s released in the UK. For those who are lucky enough to live in the USA, you can own the film on Digital HD right now, with a Blu-ray combo pack, 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray combo pack and DVD following on January 9th. The discs will include 11 deleted scenes as extras, and feature the theatrical cut of the film, with no sign of that promised director’s cut; which is a shame.
We have got our hands on an alternate opening for the film (which is included in the extras) and it’s a surprisingly hilarious one. The clip is short and shows Georgie losing his paper boat to the sewers as expected, but Pennywise’s tricks to capture him don’t work out. Check out how below.
