The much-anticipated line-up for 2016’s Horror Channel FrightFest has finally been unveiled and it’s a corker! Packed to the brim with European, World and UK premieres it features the likes of Rob Zombie’s clown nightmare 31, Darren Lynn Bousman’s mind-bending Abbatoir, Craig Anderson’s Red Christmas, Adam Wingard’s hotly anticipated The Woods, Cody Calahan’s Let Her Out and Tod Williams’ star-studded adaptation of Stephen King’s Cell.
There are 12 British titles making their world premiere and they include Laurie Brewster’s The Unkindness of Ravens and Robert Smith’s Broken. There are films from all around the world; the Spanish Realive from director Mateo Gil and White Coffin from Argentine filmmaker Daniel de la Vega. As well as Italian director Gabriele Mainetti’s They Call Me Jeeg and the South African supernatural shocker From a House on Willow Street by director Alastair Orr.
As always, this year has catered to every horror fan with zombies, ghosts, found footage, the paranormal, supernatural, psychological, the 3D and the giallo-inspired all making a horrifying appearance. We can’t wait! To see the glorious full line-up click here.
Horror Channel FrightFest has a new home at VUE Shepherd’s Bush and will run from Thursday 25th-29th August 2016.
