Visiting your Grandparent’s house is usually something to look forward to, but M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Signs) has created an elderly nightmare in his newest horror endeavour The Visit.
We’ve been teased with what might be in store with a creepy yet cute home knitted poster for the film that Shyamalan wrote, directed and even self-funded without any big studio being involved. The Visit is being produced by Blumhouse Productions and distributed worldwide by Universal Pictures.
The first official trailer is rumoured to be released this week, so be sure to check back with us for your first look at why you might think twice about spending the weekend at Grandma’s. The Visit release date is expected September 11th 2015.
Synopsis:
In a remote town in Pennsylvania, a brother and sister are forced to spend a weeklong trip with their grandparents. As the siblings begin to uncover that their sweet Grandma and Granddad are engaged in something disturbing, they realise that they might never get to leave again.
