Home-invasion horror-thriller Becky saw a teenage girl kicking some neo-Nazi ass—and she’s not done yet. The sequel, titled The Wrath of Becky, is set to make its world premiere at this year’s SXSW Film Festival, and judging by the first image from the film (above), plenty more blood will be shed!
In The Wrath of Becky: “After living off the grid for two years, Becky finds herself going toe to toe against Darryl, the leader of a fascist organization, on the eve of an organized attack.”
Lulu Wilson reprises the role of Becky for the sequel. The cast also includes Seann William Scott (Bloodline), Matt Angel, Courtney Gains (Children of the Corn), Aaron Dalla Villa, Michael Sirow, Denise Burse-Fernandez (Black Mirror), Jill Larson (The Taking of Deborah Logan), and Kate Siegel (The Haunting of Hill House)
The Wrath of Becky was written and directed by Matt Angel and Suzanne Coote (The Open House). Raphael Margules, JD Lifshitz, Tracy Rosenblum, Russell Posternak, and Chadd Harbold served as producers.
