Little Bites, announced last month, produced by singer Cher, and starring a plethora of genre names, has wrapped, and released a series of intriguing stills.
Directed by musician and actor Spider One, actress Krsy Fox, star of his two previous films and his company partner, stars as lead character Mindy.
Little Bites follows the recently-widowed Mindy as she moves to her grandmother’s eerie old mansion. She is subsequently forced to sacrifice tiny pieces of herself to a monster named Agyar, in a bid to keep the creature from harming her young daughter.
The project gained notable coverage not just for the involvement of Cher and her son Chaz, but also the amount of star power attached. A Nightmare on Elm Street alum Heather Langenkamp heads the roster, with Re-Animator’s Barbara Crampton and The Nun star Bonnie Aarons also cast. James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca of Dead Meat were also later announced.
Now we get our first look at some of the horror Little Bites is set to unleash in a set of brand-new stills. The images showcase not only Langenkamp, Aarons, and Fox but also the terrifying visage of our primary flesh-eating villain Agyar.
Of her character and her time on the film, Heather Langenkamp had this to say:
“I really responded to the way my character, Ellenor, thrusts Spider’s terrifying story in a new direction. I love that I get to deliver a kind of wisdom that older women often carry with them and are mysteriously duty bound to pass along. Krsy and Spider are an amazing team to work for!”
Little Bites is currently without a release date, but we’re sure it won’t be long until one is announced given the roster of talent involved. In the meantime, enjoy a look at what’s in store courtesy of some very eerie stills.
