We were thrilled to hear that Brad Dourif and Jennifer Tilly will reprise the roles of Chucky and Tiffany in Chucky, Don Mancini and Nick Antosca’s upcoming TV series for USA and Syfy—but they’re not the only returning cast members from the franchise! Fiona Dourif will also return for the series, reprising the role of Nica Pierce that she first played in 2013’s Curse of Chucky.
Other cast members for the series include Devon Sawa (Final Destination), Zackary Arthur (Mom and Dad), Teo Briones (Ratched), Bjorgvin Arnarson (The Seventh Day), and Alyvia Alyn Lind (Daybreak). Set in an idyllic American town, the series will see a series of horrifying murders beginning to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets after a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies—and allies—from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.
Interestingly, 2017’s Cult of Chucky, the franchise’s most recent film entry (not counting the remake), ends with Fiona Dourif’s character Nica becoming a new host for the spirit of Charles Lee Ray and driving off with Tiffany. No word yet on whether this plot thread will be continued.
