Nina Forever is one of our favourite horror films at the moment; it’s a unique, touching and beautiful anti-romantic tale that brings a new meaning to “love never dies”. With a fantastic cast that includes Fiona O’Shaughnessy, Abigail Hardingham and Cian Berry, it’s an outstanding and unforgettable debut from brothers Ben and Chris Blaine.
Synopsis:
After his girlfriend Nina dies in a car crash, Rob unsuccessfully attempts suicide. As he begins to overcome his grief, he falls in love with a co-worker, Holly. Their relationship is complicated when Nina, unable to find rest in the afterlife, comes back to life to sarcastically torment them whenever they have sex.
To gear the film up for its release later this month, we have a new clip and a final greenband trailer to share with you. The clip shows Holly desperately trying to rid Nina from their lives, but she’s not going anywhere. The image of Nina slumped over the chair, bloody and pale is striking. Her sarcastic personality is pitch-perfect for the film, which manages to steady itself on the thin line between horror and comedy. Equally as horrifying as it is stunning, Nina Forever really is a must-see.
