Filming has just wrapped on Seance, the feature directorial debut of Simon Barrett, who you may remember as the writer of The Guest, You’re Next, and Blair Witch, to name just a few of his credits.
Barrett announced the news on Facebook, writing: “Haven’t posted in weeks because I had no time, but we wrapped production on Seance on Thursday night, on schedule after 22 shooting days in lovely Winnipeg. Massive gratitude to our amazing cast and crew for making it happen. Can’t wait for you all to see this one when it’s done.”
Set at an all-girls boarding school, Seance follows Camille (Suki Waterhouse), a young woman who arrives shortly after the untimely and violent death of one of the students. Madisen Beaty and Inanna Sarkis also star.
