It’s only been just over a week since season 2’s first episode of Fear the Walking Dead has aired, but it has already been confirmed that there will be a third season on the way. The first episode secured over 10 million viewers and that’s mighty impressive.
Fear The Walking Dead debuted last year and it was overwhelmingly well-received. It’s no wonder; The Walking Dead is one of the most-watched and most popular TV series’ of all-time and it seems as though audiences are not ready to say goodbye to zombies just yet. The spin-off series gives audiences the chance to view the breakdown of society from a different perspective and as the president for AMC Charlie Collier has said, “What Dave Erickson and Robert Kirkman have invented… is to be applauded. Watching Los Angeles crumble through the eyes of our characters and seeing each make decisions and try to figure out the rules of their new world – it’s fresh, eerie and compelling and we’re all in for the ride”.
Be sure to catch Fear the Walking Dead every Sunday on AMC in the USA and the following day in the UK, to see what the inhabitants of the Abigail get up to next.
