Does anyone remember The Mothman Prophecies with Richard Gere? That film terrified me when I was a child. My fear of moths and general winged creatures probably did not help. If the aforementioned film tickled your fancy, then you may be interested in this trailer for The Mothman of Point Pleasant.
The Mothman of Point Pleasant is a documentary that will explore the strange happenings between 1966 and 1967 in West Virginia. During this time period 4 people reported seeing a winged creature near a factory which, unsurprisingly, sparked a bit of media frenzy. Thus, the Mothman was born! The documentary will try to unravel the truth of the period, which also saw the appearance of men in black and UFOs. Apparently. We’re certainly intrigued to discover what actually happened.
The Mothman of Point Pleasant comes from Seth Breedlove who will direct, write and produce the film.
