A second trailer has been released for Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children from director Tim Burton and it looks as visually stunning as the first. There are a couple of new moments in this trailer, most notably revolving around the villainous ‘Hollow’ characters and Samuel L. Jackson’s Barron, which give us a taste of the horror side of the film.
Synopsis:
When Jake discovers clues to a mystery that spans alternate realities and times, he uncovers a secret refuge known as Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As he learns about the residents and their unusual abilities, Jake realises that safety is an illusion, and danger lurks in the form of powerful, hidden enemies. Jake must figure out who is real, who can be trusted, and who he really is.
Albeit quite catered to the younger reader, the novel written by Ransom Riggs is rather wonderful. The essence of beauty and darkness seems to have been captured remarkably in the film adaptation and aside from a couple of narrative and character differences, those who loved the book should find a lot to love in this, too.
Check out the trailer below and be sure to catch Miss Peregrine and co. when they hit our screens on 30th September 2016. The film additionally stars Eva Green, Kim Dickens and Asa Butterfield.
