Stephen Lang confirmed earlier this month that he’d finished shooting his scenes for the upcoming sequel to 2016’s Don’t Breathe, and we’ve now learned that the film will be releasing next summer!
Set several years after the home invasion of the first movie, Don’t Breathe 2 will see the Blind Man (Lang) hiding out in an isolated cabin. He has taken in and raised a young girl orphaned from a house fire and is living a quiet life. But when a group of kidnappers show up and take the girl, the Blind Man must leave his safe haven to save her.
Rodo Sayagues, who co-wrote the original film, took the director’s chair for the sequel, which he once again wrote with Fede Alvarez. The film will hit theatres on August 13th, 2021.
