Don Mancini, the mastermind behind the Child’s Play franchise, just dropped an official teaser trailer for Chucky, an all-new TV series from Mancini and Nick Antosca (Channel Zero).
Described as a fresh take on the franchise, Chucky will see a vintage Chucky doll turning up at a suburban yard sale. What follows is a series of horrifying murders that throws the idyllic American town into chaos as its hypocrisies and secrets are exposed. The arrival of enemies and allies from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings—as well as the doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.
Chucky will air on the USA Network and Syfy in 2021.
