As you may have heard, Morgan Creek is developing a reboot of The Exorcist, and some intriguing news from the project emerged this week…
According to Observer, David Gordon Green (Halloween, Halloween Kills) is in talks to direct the reboot, which may actually be a sequel! Blumhouse also seems to have boarded the project, with Jason Blum reportedly producing alongside David Robinson and James Robinson.
This will be the sixth film in The Exorcist film franchise, which began in 1973 with the release of William Friedkin’s game-changing horror classic. Friedkin will not be involved with the new movie.
